Zeal League 1 report card. Week 13 results. (2019/2020)

Week 13 of the French league 1 kicked off on Friday and that featured Nice hosting Girondins. A tight game between these two and they were unable to create a separation between both of them. The game ended in a 1-1 draw and points was shared between them.

Brest thought playing at home against PSG will be all a good idea for them but they were wrong. PSG were determined and too strong for Brest to contain. Brest threw their best into this matchup but PSG went back home as the victors in this matchup.

Stade de Reims at home against Angers was nothing but a barren draw, while Strasbourg had a trap set up for Nimes. Welcoming the visitors with open arms but seeing them off with rain of goals was just enough to take all points.

An uncomfortable day for Lille. Hosting Metz and playing out a blank full-time scoreline was a total setback for Lille who are eying a top spot finish on the log.
But somewhere else, Monaco edged passed Dijon in a close contest.

Rennes at home were superb and defeated Amiens, therefore, comfortably clinching on all points.
An impressive performance by Montpellier at home against Toulouse. Scoring three unreplied goals showed the quality in the Montpellier team.

Nantes failed to capitalize in front of their home fans as they played again Saint-Etienne. Losing this matchup won't only be a setback but a confidence dampener.

For the last game of week 13 in the French league 1, Marseille against Lyon, a big one that everyone always wants to see.
Both teams are known for their last rivalry and history and both teams are known for their prestige. Marseille took the game to Lyon and both teams dug it out in the pitch but Marseille were fortunate enough to edge pass the visitors. 2-1 it ended and Marseille with the points.
