My Dream 11 Team - Match 26 ( RR vs LSG) IPL 2023

After so many years of IPL , finally I am trying my luck into cricket fantasy games. There were lot of hullabaloo over the fantasy games of cricket where the users chooses the players to make their own team and join a contest to earn money. Basically it is like gambling where upu bet your teams again the opponenet and if it score well, uou won. The popular of all the app is dream 11 and I started with it.

Todsy, we have 26th match of this edition to be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Lucknow Super Giant (LSG).

I am not starting to get into gambling straightway,but I like to see how my team score during the game. It is just like playing down a practice match just to test my luck. I will prepare a team of 11 players from both the team, and see how they score and where I would be standing against an opponents from a contesting team.

But first I like to do some research and check out the team past performances. The match is played in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, which is the home ground for Rajasthan Royals, it will already be an added advantage for the RR team with locals supporting their team. And this season they have some pretty good game of cricket and standing on top of the table. While on the other hand LSG is closely following them with 3 wins in 5 games standing 2nd on the point table. RR is on top with 4 wins in 5 games with a healthier run rate. A win here will surely put LSG on top.

This is already and indication of nail bitting match with full of entertainment. Past records suggest, that the, the cricket pitch of Jaipur is best suitable for spinners. And average score per match is around 135 runs per innings. Considering, the nature of the pitch and teams composition. I made a team of 11.

My virtual 11

As per the playing rule, we can go with, wicket keepers (who can bat as well), Batsman, all-rounder (one who bat and bowl), and bowling players. So I opted for 2 wicket keepers one from each team, as they in form player this season and also good hard for their respective team. From the Batsman, I opted one specialist in LSG team and 2 in RR. They looks to be in good touch. T20 is the game where an all-rounder does play a crucial role, as they can be handy with bats and bowl as well. Here I opted for 2 from LSG. Finally the balling department. This is going to be tricky as I made a choice of my own. 3 bowlers from RR and 1 from LSG. The all rounders will comes in place if any bowlers fell short got LSG.

2X & 1.5X key choices

After choosing the best 11, the apps asked me to make a captain and vice captain for my virtual team. It can be anybody from the team. A captain score 2X points while a vice captain of tea. Score 1.5X. This is again a gambling as we have to make a choice of my own. And if players fail, to perform , then the points table will be topple down. So I made my own choices, after reviewing their performances this season.

My playing 11 is ready, if any changes is made in the final 11, before the begining of the match, we can edit out team as per choices. But I am fine with my current selection. With no contest joined, I can see how team perform and will evaluate for next game.
