Under my nose. Hive savings. My Actifit Report Card: April 28 2023

Like anything new, my digital fast started out pretty well today, but the ending wants to be better.) It was relatively chilly, but I decided to have coffee right on the deserted beach for now, so I brewed coffee in a thermos and took it with me along with a cup. It was just that. I also decided to confine myself to headphones as well, to listen to the sounds of the world during the day. In fact, the experience was a success.

We have so many ways of escaping reality now that we don't even notice it sometimes...

I would like to bring more of the real world into the digital world. So I took a series of photos to make a panorama. Then I got the idea to look at one of the AI tools to improve the quality of the photo. I used replicate.com with the gfpgan module, which is completely free. I was pleased with the results.

Anyway, I'm going to do it again tomorrow and see what other fresh thoughts come to my mind. I'm sure there will be many more if I manage to spend the whole day this way.

But for now, it's just the morning...

Throughout the day, my habits kept trying to pull me back into video clips, watching chats, and taking my thoughts farther and farther away from the right things. At some point I gave up and of course explained it away as a necessity at the moment.

One can always explain one's weakness to oneself.

However, I had heard and seen a lot of interesting things during the day. It seems that I still woke up from time to time, as at moments I did not recognize my own city. The shuttle turns out to be noisy, and the morning smells different from the day.

Red or blue pill?

Yes, it seems everything I need may be right under my nose.

And it seems I have a lot of interesting things ahead of me!

Would I invest in Hive if I had extra cash?

Yes! I'm seeing more and more opportunities now that I'm investing every day that I earn here.

Will I invest here when I have extra cash?

Yes. It's the only way I can unwind this snowball and meet my goals for the next 10 years.

Ten years aren't that long, 4 months of this year is almost behind me. And I like the results, but I can do it faster.

We find the way to excuse ourselves for sure, but sometimes it’s nice to get distracted by live life and noticing things around us that we wouldn’t if we were busy chasing our goals.

I so appreciate reading about your experiences Alexandr! You're so different, and so similar to me at the same time! I haven't tried a digital fast yet, as I don't know how to not get too far buried in notifications, and also my growth would slow here. On the other hand I'd have much more interesting stuff to share!

I would definitely invest outside sources into Hive! I still have a bunch of PKOIN (from the Pocketnet/Bastyon blockchain) staked on a community node, and growing every day. I have over 2,000 now, and their value is about the same as HIVE presently. When I get it past 5,000 I'll probably sell it, convert it to LTC, and send here.
