Such a different planet.

It's funny to watch the World Cup when my streets are snowed in, blizzarded in places, and icy in places. Here we skate in fur coats, and somewhere they play soccer in T-shirts. Different worlds. But no. It's just such a different planet. And if you want, you can change the climate in a few hours on a plane. It's just a matter of making sure you're running from the weather and not from yourself...

You can't see the sky behind the gray clouds all the time here. It happens every year all winter long. But sometimes I manage to catch a moment when I can see that blue ocean of sky. Now I understand what I miss most about this time of year. And it's not even the sun. Blue Curaçao and foam on the sky. My favorite eye drink....

Забавно наблюдать чемпионат мира, когда на моих улицах снег, местами вьюга, а местами гололёд. У нас катаются на коньках в шубах, а где-то играют в футбол в майках. Разные миры. Но нет. Просто такая разная планета. И при желании можно сменить климат за несколько часов полёта на самолёте. Осталось убедиться, что ты бежишь от погоды, а не от себя...

Здесь всё время неба не видно за серыми облаками. Так происходит каждый год всю зиму. Но иногда мне удаётся словить момент, когда я вижу этот голубой океан неба. Теперь я понимаю, чего мне больше всего не хватает в эту пору. И это даже не солнце. Блю кюрасао с пенкой на небе. Мой любимый напиток для глаз....
