We finished WRC Central European Rally 2023

Hi, friends!

What an event it was this past week, I can not tell you how difficult it was. I never experienced this level of stress during the competition but after all, it is a World Rally Championship, right?!

Rally starts with recce and not with competitive driving. If you make mistake while making notes of the special stages, it is very much possible that you will finish off road, read with shunt and that's something we want to avoid.

That's why I always insist of doing a recce almost perfect, and that's why I go on the recce training before each evenz because if you start with recce on official event without being practicing it before, then you can expect some kind of a problem on the first few stages you recce.

OK, recce was done on Wednesday when we had a shakedown in the evening and that's only a stage to try the car, nothing important.

Rally started for real on Thursday with the start just above Prague (Czech Republic) and it was beautiful with lots of people. After that we had two special stages with lots of spectators and we gave our maximum but on the 2nd special stage we found out that our night lamps don't work so we had to slow down a little bit.

Friday morning was a time for a big fight and time difference was in one second which is something which can make me feeling good. But soon we had small mistake because our brakes was blocking more then needed and our front left suspension was in trouble.

Guys in the box repaired that but because of the hit, wheel studs were damaged and that brought us even more problems. In the end the driveshuft was our problem (the same front left wheel) and we were cruising last two special stages just to finish the rally.

OK, we had troubles but it was important to finish an event because you can have super fast times and crash it before the end which means DNF (did not finish) and I hate that. There's bunch of photos and videos from fans and there was @lordbutterfly with us during the rally so he will put his side of view in his posts.
