Sordo tested Hyundai i20 Rally1 hybrid 2022 car
Hi, friends!
Spaniard Dani Sordo was the last one of their works drivers to test the new hybrid 2022 Rally1 Hyundai i20. We still don't know what will be the name of those new cars. Will they be called WRC cars or just Rally1 but it's good for the future that some new things and technologies will be involved.
World moves on every day and it is pretty normal that technology moves the same way so I don't understand people who always complain about that. Those people like to live in the past and it is impossible to stop some process in the sport, especially in the motorsport where it is all about the technology.
I kinda liked it when I heard that Dani Sordo will stay in the sport for another season because I follow him from let's say 2003-2004, from his Group N Mitsubishi days.
I was just impressed with his times in that group N days. Later he won Junior World Rally Championship title in 2005 battling whole season against Kris Meeke. I just don't remember why I liked more Sordo then Meeke at that time and Meeke was protegee of Colin McRae, my hero from that days.
I guess that the next season could be Sordo's last one at the top of the sport. Only wins can give him another drive after 15 years of WRC machinery.
Watch Sordo's test with the latest Hyundai technology and the test has been held in Italy. Enjoy...
