Sesks won ERC Rally Liepaja 2023 in dominant way

Latvian guy Martinš Sesks won his home rally in a dominant way winning most of the special stages which he knows like his pocket. This was his 2nd victory in a row in the European Rally Championship and now he is 30 points behind Hayden Paddon on the championship table.

Sesks would need to win every round of the four events which are left in ERC this season and hope that Paddon hits some trouble which is not in a sport way nut that's life.

If you ask me, Kiwi Hayden Paddon is already a champion for this season because guy with so much World Rally Championship experience in the Hyundai works team can't lose 30 points lead that easy.

OK, you never know what can happen but it won't be easy for anone to catch him. Next round is gravel of Sweden, another round that suits three or four drivers a lot - Paddon, Sesks, Ostberg and Heikkila. It sill be interesting who could be fast there.

So Paddon finished 2nd in Liepaja while Mads Ostbeg finished 3rd overall That's how the leader board looks like anyway, except that Sesks won in Liepaja and Paddon finished 2nd for the 2nd time in a row.
