Pirelli rally tires and racing fuel should finally come this Friday
Hi, friends!
I have some updates about our next outing which should be a tarmac rally and the first round of our national rally championship Yeah, we have a 'new' rally car for this season - Citroen C2 R2 Max and I will have to take it easy on the first to rallies, just to learn the car as much as possible.
To be honest, I don't have the right to crash his car. If I destroy it, I will have a big problem. It is a proper works rally car and every bigger damage costs a lot.
On the other hand, it is normal to have a shunt from time to time because it is a motorsport and some crashes should be kinda normal if this won't be too often. Not to crash it, I decided to invest into the Pirelli rally tires just to be more sure that the car will stay on the road. Now I have some experience with Pirellis and I know that I can be pretty sure that the grip level is really big and that's what I need this season.
I thought that I will have to buy it from Slovenian team which is known as their reseller but today I found a better offer which will save us some 150$. At this moment, this looks big for me because I will need lots of money this season if I will want to drive the whole season.
Well, at least I already have one rally start this season and it was on my favorite surface - gravel.
There are some news about racing fuel. We should have on Friday two drums of it with 54 liters per each. That won't be enough for the first rally because we should have some test before event and we should go on the shakedown for at least five times.
This all costs lots of money and I will post exact numbers on Friday, or when the order will be at my place.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR US!
