Parallel rally onboard video - SS5 Lappi vs Ogier | WRC Guanajuato Rally México 2023

Hi, friends!

This parallel onboard video from the special stage five of WRC Rally Mexico which finished last weekend proves one important thing and that is equality of the Rally1 machinery of Toyota and Hyundai.

It is so important not to have a domination of one team because then it can be only boring and who wants to watch only one driver winning the rallies. No one, I guess. It is much more exciting to have a fight between more drivers able to win at each rally then the domination which we had for years.

OK, Seb Ogier won again last weekend which just proves that he is probably the best rally driver active at the moment (because other Seb (Loeb) doesn't have a drive at the moment). But Esapekka Lappi showed that he was able to lead the rally on day one of the rally.

I just think that Lappi needs a perfect rally to win his 2nd event after a win at Rally Finland some five years ago. I mean, if he was able to win once, then he is able to win again.

But what i like the most in the video is that no car in faster, it is all down to the driver. And that's what makes championship looking excited.
