Only nine starters to enter this year's Junior World Rally Championship
Hi, friends!
Maybe I am to much critical but number of only nine entrants for this year's Junior World Rally Championship seems like a low profile story.
When you know that the win in this championship could bring you lights of the big stage, then only nine starters could been that there is something wrong with the whole idea. At least twenty entrants should be entered into the series to see the quality in it.
From this nine starters, I heard for four of them before. Some of them are already very known and it is interesting that only one driver from 2022 stayed in the series for this year - it's William Creighton from Ireland. His family helps him a lot and that's good for him.
Grégoire Munster from Belgium is another top guy who will be in the official M-Sport WRC2 team, alongside with Adrien Fourmaux. But Munster decided to go for the Junior WRC series when he is still in his age of qualifying for it.
Laurent Pellier from France is a super talented guy who won Junior European Rally Championship series for 2022 and this is the prize for that win - paid season in JWRC.
I also heard for Eamonn Kelly from Ireland, but for the rest of them no, they are all new comers to the world stage. We are talking about following names: Tom Rensonnet, Diego Dominguez, Raúl Hernández, Roberto Blach and Hamza Anwar.
I will follow the series closely because I like to watch the new rally blood from all across the world fighting for the honors of best in the world.
Let the best win - as always...
