Onboard rally video of the day - Thierry Neuville with Hyundai i20 Rally1 at Power Stage of WRC Croatia Rally 2023

Power Stage of WRC Croatia Rally called Zagorska Sela is one of the toughest special stages I drove in my career. This special stage is the combination of two other stages we drove in our national championship back in 2017. I remember that when I saw those roads, I thought that I never saw anything worse in my life. So muddy, narrow with crests and blind corners.

Four years later, thanks to the COVID-19 crises, World Rally Championship came to Croatia and the toughest Croatian special stage became Power Stage of Croatian round of the WRC. Now I know why I thought that way back then in 2017. Yeah Power Stage should be the toughest one, full stop.

Hyundai's Thierry Neuville didn't have the best rally in Croatia because he went of the special stage called Ravna Gora-Skrad and we saw the crew having OK sign in their hands when we passed the place where they stopped. They are true professionals, nothing to say more.

They rejoined the rally with the Super Rally rule, just like we did, but with the time penalties and their only goal was to score the points for the Hyundai, as their manufacturers and the points on Power Stage for themselves.

Being fastest at Power Stage brought them five points which is better then nothing from this rally.
