Ogier hopes to stay with Toyota for another WRC season

Eight-time World Rally champion Seb Ogier is still one of the best despite the fact he didn't win a single rally in 2022 which means he can choose a team where he will be next year.

He still has two opportunities until the end of the season - one in Spain and one in Japan. Toyota brought him back for the last three rallies to fight for a manufacturer's crown because they think they have more chances with then with Esapekka Lappi, with whom Ogier shares the third car in the team.

And they are right if you ask me. Lappi has only one win and Ogier šrobably fifty or more. Lappi still doesn't have a driver 's championship crown while Ogier already won eight titles.

If one can help Toyota to seal another crown, then it' s Seb Ogier. That's why he would like to stay with the team for another season and it won't be a full season, it is almost 100% certain.

He will probably share a third car with Lappi for another season with Toyota protegee Japanese Takamoto Katsuta in a fourth car.
