Loeb to do four more WRC rallies in 2022 with M-Sport Ford

Hi, friends!

I don't know if it is mutual desire but management of M-Sport Ford wants more action with nine-time World Rally Champion Seb Loeb who made tremendous result at last month's Monte Carlo Rallyw by winning it over Seb Ogier.

Yeah, this guy hasn't been in a WRC car competitively for more then a season and just after he finished Dakar Rally, he flied to France and had a short one day test before the rally, and after that he started with recce for Monte.

After four days for hard rallying, he finally won over Seb Ogier who drives for Toyota for a 3rd season. OK, these cars are new Rally1 technology and no one has some bigger experience except the guys who tested them more then the others.

But Loeb isn't one of them and despite that he won the rally for 8th time. Now he is equal with Ogier because they both have 8th wins. Maybe we will have a new leader in 2023 but that's future and we have lots of time until then.

M-Sport owner Malcolm Wilson thinks that Seb Loeb still has something special in himself because that guy will be 48 this months and he is still capable of winning over 20 or more years younger guys. Wilson wants him to do four more WRC rallies and first of them should be gravel of Portugal.

He will have a nice starting position there because championship leader starts first. And you know that first on the road on gravel is sweeper who cleans the road for the rest of the pack.

Loeb will probably be 5th or 6th at that time so he will have pretty clean road in front of him. No one can say what other three events will be but it is more then probably that he will do Safari Rally Kenya because it is so special event that every driver wants to do.

We will follow closely all the news and write about it as soon as we will have something new.
