Interesting scenes from behind Hyundai Rally1 test in Italy
Hi, friends!
I enjoy watching mechanics as they prepare the car for the next special stage or just make something better on the car, or changing the set-up of a rally car.
And when you have the latest technology with cars which are still not homologated (it's expected to be on 1st of January 2022 because cars everything must be ready for Monte Carlo Rallye in January), then the pleasure is even bigger.
On this video we can see the garage of BRC Racing Team from Italy, which is also Hyundai's satellite team which runs their Rally2 program with MRF Tyres with Hyundai Motorsport principal Andrea Adamo, and their two top drivers - Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak (ex-WRC 2019 champion).
You can also see how the new hybrid system can be powered and the plug wire goes through the window, very interesting system of powering.
It's so weird to hear the rally car without a big noise. Ten years I wouldn't be able to imagine something like that. This is reality now.
The car is super quick. What is really important to say that the full power of around 500bhp is for only 60s and the rest of the time on the special stage is their normal power of 380 bhp.
It will be interesting to see how it will work on the real rallies and outside of testing because this technology is completely new on rallies for all three manufacturers - Toyota, Hyundai or M-Sport Ford.
Enjoy this brilliant short video...
