How does it look like gravel rally I am entered for...

Hi, friends!

I started to prepare for my next rally event I am entered for. This time I will rent the rally car from our neighborhood country so I don't have to think about the car that much, just finance, looking for a co-driver and watching onboard videos to memorize the special stage in my head.

I know the organizer and he told me that the special stage which will be run four times is just like two years ago - completely the same.

Last year this gravel rally show haven't been run because of the coronavirus pandemic but this year it goes as it's planned.

So it has four special stages which is one special stage ran four times. It's easier for us competitors because you don't have to think too much, you just memorize the road and listen to your co-driver.

Because it's ran four times, the road is so destroyed on the last run, that you think that you drive on some kind of a ploughland. Big cars (WRC car/cars which are usually one or two, plus many R5 cars plus big Mitsubishi and Subaru cars destroy the road that you don't see it as a road when you drive - just big holes and you are looking for the line to pass through the field.

I hope that my Suzuki Baleno 4WD will be good prepared and that I will finish the rally, because I like that - finishing rallies finally.

We still have four weeks until the rally show but I have to find a new co-driver for a longer time. Wish me luck.

So today I have an onboard rally video from the last edition and the car is Citroen C2 R2 Max (the same I own now for tarmac rallies of our national rally championship) and this guy won the class I am entered this year with this car.

Enjoy...

Very exciting! I was surprised you aren't taking your new car on this rally but your reasons make sense. Might as well rent a car that's better set up for gravel and let it take the beating :)

I am preparing watching the onboard videos. I don't have gravel set-up for my Citroen C2 R2 Max so it's cheaper to rent the 4x4 car then to invest 3 or 4k€ for a gravel set-up. Also I want to learn 4x4 gravel driving for the future because I have more hidden wishes on my mind! THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
