Fourmaux still in shape for 2nd M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1

Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux had really nice season after he won British National Rally Championship but what is more important is that he was a crucial person in development of new Ford Fiesta Rally2 car which is noe much closer in pace to, until now, very dominant Škoda Fabia of same category.

OK, it is much up to the driver behind a steering wheel but even if you havr the best driver, if he drives a bad car, he is nowhere. Ford Fiesta Rally2 is now a proven car in category but if they can put a little bit more of something, it could be a winning car. And yeah, Fourmaux was a key person in development of the car.

But he was also very unlucky at WRC Rally Japan earlier this month when he went off on the first special stage of Friday and couldn't restart under Super Rally rule next day because of the damaged rollcage.

M-Sport Ford team principal Richard Millener won't take that into consideration for tge next year's driver's choice, he revealed. That means that Fourmaux is still much in the seat race with them for 2024...
