E. Evans tested with Toyota ahead of WRC Rally Catalunya Spain 2022

Hi, friends!

This was probably the worst year for Welshman Elfyn Evans from when he joined the Toyota WRC team at the start of 2020 season. He scored no wins but at the same time, he had two terrible DNF's (did not finishes), mostly as a driver's mistakes plus some finish outside of points, also because of a driver's mistake.

It is strange not to see any of a wins this season written beside his name because he fought against Ogier for the title last two seasons.

I think that Evans list some confidence after being defeated from this year's champion Kalle Rovanpera. He just had a bad start at Monte Carlo Rallye and Rally Sweden and then he had to slow the pace just to rebuild the confidence because another crash or retirement would destroy his confidence completely.

It would be good for him to win either Catalunya Spain or Rally Japan and that way he would enter completely ready into the 2023 season which is probably already on his mind because he wants to forget this season as soon as possible.
