Can Ott Tanak win this year's WRC title?

First of all, he doesn't have a pressure because he already won the title in 2019 so there is no pressure of winning the first title and that's really a big thing.
But it is little bit concerning that he doesn't have a nerve on some rallies later in the season not to make a mistake, like too many punctures and then there is a retirement problem in sight.
His team mate Thierry Neuville is the biggest favorite because of consistency but anything can happen. I wouldn't write off Toyota's Elfyn Evans but he has a big pressure of winning a first title as well as points deficit on hi account.
Yeah, Estonian Tanak (Hyundai) could win this year's title but consistency is the key...

I have pretty much written off Evans - unless he can start winning, consistently - his season is over. He has a good ride, but it looks like the pressure has caught up with him and he hasn't figured out how to deal with it yet.
As much as it pains me to say this - I think this year its going to be Neuville who wins the title. You already know I'm not his biggest fan, but he's playing a very smart points game, scoring in every rally, despite crashes or "car" issues - consistency is his game.
Tanak - I don't think so, he doesn't seem to have the "fire" that he used to. Maybe he's just driving - for the sake of driving. The last couple of outings, during interviews, he really didn't seem like he has the same fire and passion he used to....
Time will tell....
Hm, without commitment, there won't be drive for next year so there must be some fire there. But I would say that pressure is a key word here. That's why youngsters are in much bigger favor because they only live for flat out approach.
Tanak reminds me of Sordo... do fantastic, only when you need to as in, your job is on the line. He has skill, no doubt about that, but I don't see the "passion" anymore. Isn't his contract over this year? I suspect that towards the end of the season, he'll turn everything on - but for now, he seems happy to just "be there", towards the top....
Tanak is much better then Sordo. He has 20 wins while Sordo only three...
