BREAKING NEWS: FIA retains Rally1 cars until end of 2026

Hi, friends!

Now it is official. FIA and WRC promoter decided to retain Rally1 cars with hybrid units until the end of season 2026. There was a no hybrid proposal a few months ago to make gap between Rally1 and Rally2 cars smaller but works team's bosses didn't allow any change so that was dropped under their pressure.

My word is a thumb down on this decision because this is bad for the sport to have only eight or nine top class cars on an event and the rest are Rally2 or Rally3 cars plus front wheel drive machinery and that's it.

I remember when there was 25 top WRC class cars on the entry list and that's competition. Ransom frož works teams over FIA can't be good.

So I say thumb down on this...
