oh and there is always going to be a few people that bet on the long shot, normally against the spread in the hopes that Carolina will suck less than they are expected to. Some consider this to be a good bet to take because once a team is exposed as being weak, opposing teams will often sit out their best players or not go "all in" so to speak when they know they don't have to in order to win. Teams generally are not interested in covering the spread and are just in it for a win. Well unless they are involved in some sort of illegal gambling rig and that would be really tough to pull off with so many people on one team.
