Chiefs vs. Bills: Whoever screws up first is going to lose

It's creeping up on halftime right now and the game thus far has been absolutely electric with every possession meaning a great deal as far as the overall game is concerned.

I was talking the other day about how I feel this is the real Super Bowl right here right now since I believe these two teams are the true 2 best teams in the tournament overall. I am sure there are some out there that don't think that is the case but there might just be some Kansas City hatred bias in those people's words.

It has been tit for tat from the start of the game and here we are at near halftime with the score at 14-10 in favor of the Chiefs. It seems as though both teams are responding to how the other team does with dead possessions ending up being dead for the other side as well and when one team scores, the other team does so as well on their next possession. The only thing separating the two right now is the fact that the Bills were only able to muster a field goal on their response drive 6 minutes after the Chiefs scored their opening TD.

The Bills have a lot to prove here today because they were eliminated from the playoffs last season by the Chiefs. Buffalo is also the only team that has truly beaten the Kansas City side this season. Yes, I am aware that the Broncos also have a "W" against the Chiefs but KC took out almost all of their starters including Mahommes in that game because they stood to gain absolutely nothing by winning it and decided to rest their star players instead of risking injury.

As I have mentioned before I want the Chiefs to win this game but if they don't I will not cry. I am a fan of the Chiefs by proxy because I have family in Kansas. I don't really have any affiliation with the team. If the Bills emerge victorious I will be ok with that too because I would love to see them break the curse that they have been plagued with my entire lifetime.

Of course there is always the risk of them yet again making it to the Super Bowl only to choke and lose as well.

The 2nd half is going to be perhaps the most important half of football that we have seen yet this season.

I really believe that the first team to turn the ball over is going to lose this one and I am sure that both QB's are very concerned about exactly that happening. I write to you now as the 2 minute warning was declared and three have been no interceptions thrown and no fumbles. The two defenses could very well be the deciding factor in this game.
