Champions League Matches played on Wednesday (Scores, and little info)
Eight matches were played in the Wednesday Uefa Champions league. Most expected teams won the match except for some that could not prove themselves worthy of the optimism put in them by their fans. Genk and Liverpool played a really cool match and Liverpool proved that they’ve been fantastic from the beginning of the season, and their form never drops.
They drew Manchester United at home on Sunday. A match that would have stopped their unbeaten run in the premier league, but they equalized and leveled up till the referee blows the final whistle. Liverpool trashed Genk 4 goals to 1.
Salzburg and Napoli also played a competitive match. Napoli scored two goals before their opponent paid back 1 from their debt. The match ended 2 – 3 in favour of Napoli.
Napoli is topping the group with 7 points followed by Liverpool with 6. Inter Milan defeated Borussia Dortmund 2 nil. Barcelona played Slavia Prague 2 – 1. See the table for the Champions League scores.

All the teams played over 1.5 goals except Chelsea and Ajax. And it was only them and inter vs Dortmund that has an unreplied goal. All others are goal-goal. The matches are interesting. At least I watched the highlights. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of the remaining group stage matches.
