My Actifit Report Card and Update: July 22 2023

Hi Everyone,

It is summer in the UK but it won't stop raining. This is the wettest and possibly the coldest July I can remember. It is a nuisance for many reasons. It is warm enough for the grass to grow but the windows of opportunity to cut it are smaller. It's not good for walks either.

I shouldn't complain because June was really great. Most days were 25 degrees and dry. July is compensating for that nice weather. It balances out in a weird way. It is supposed to be an El Nino year. Weather is expected to be a bit different. Looks like mainland Europe are still getting their good summer, lucky for them.

My Content

My Challenge Series continues. Challenges 4 and 5 were posted in the week. The Buying and Selling Game (business version) was posted on Monday and the ice Cream Game was posted on Friday.

The business version of the Buying and Selling Game has been around a couple of years. It is no longer part of the monthly series but should be fresh in the minds of my regular participants.

The Ice Cream Game is much newer. This game started only a couple of months ago. The objective of the game is to attract as many customers as possible using only the selection of location to do so. The locations are along 3 different beaches that have different numbers of potential customers. To win participants need place their ice cream stand closest to as many customers as possible. The potential number of customers changes with every new participant. The game is simple as it only requires participants to provide a location but complex as it requires a participants to time their entry as well as anticipate where other participants may place their ice cream stands.

The final two challenges will be posted next week. After these challenges close, the results of all challenges will be posted. This will take place throughout August. The overall winner will be announced at the end of August.
