My Actifit Report Card and Update: July 29 2022
Hi Everyone,
I'm back with another Actifit Report and Update. I haven't been as busy this week. I finished up painting the outside of the house and a few other small tasks around the garden and courtyard. The grass didn't need cutting this week. I expect it will catch up next week. I wrote 2 posts this week. Both didn't take too long. I spent more time designing 2 new challenges for this year's challenge series.
Below are some photographs of the house after painting. The photographs are of the side and back. The front didn't need painting because of the cladding and the other side is attached to another house.
My Content
The first post was the monthly Buying and Selling Game Contest. The second post was an introduction video and blog for the upcoming Economics Challenge Series.
I am now up to my 31st Buying and Selling Game Contest. It has been consistently running for about 2 years. The participation rate has been up and down but there's always enough entries to have a winner. There is just over a day left to enter, I am hoping there will be a few last minute entries. So far, I think around six people have entered.
The Buying and Selling Games will return soon in the Economics Challenge Series. The Economic Challenge Series will consist of 7 challenges and will be played out over 7 weeks. It follows a very similar format to last year's challenge series. However, two challenges have been changed. The CBA and crypto return on investment games have been replaced with a tax game and a risk and expected values game (pick-a-door). The blog explains how the two new games will work and the video explains the entire challenge series. The challenge series will begin in August. Most likely within the next two weeks. I should be able to announce start dates in the next Actifit Report and Update.
This brings this Actifit Report and Update to a close. I hope everyone had a good week and will have an excellent weekend. Try and stay active if you can. In most places, it is a good time of year to get out and be active outside.
