My Actifit Report Card and Fence Repair: April 26 2022
Hi Everyone,
I'm back with another Actifit Report and Update. It has been a little longer than usual as I have been busy away from Hive. I have managed to be active outside without putting up high count numbers.
On Monday, I went into town to buy wire cutters and pliers. I needed these tools to help me fix and reinforce the back garden fence. Hamlet the Happy Pig is grass crazy at the moment. Unfortunately, the grass is still struggling to grow in her area (Hamlet and Lily keep eating it). Hamlet can see that the neighbours' grass is doing much better than hers (neighbours do not have a hungry pig). Hamlet has decided to push the bottom of the fence (wire) out to grab some of the neighbours' grass. The bottom of the fence has become bent out but not raised sufficiently for Hamlet to get under it.
I previously tried to protect the fence by using tent pegs. Hamlet is strong enough push them out. My next plan was to add an additional wire to the bottom of the fence. I needed the wire cutters to cut it and the pliers to tighten the wire around the posts. I threaded the wire through the lower links and tied the wire to the posts at each end of the section. Securing the wire wasn't that difficult but getting it taut so that it was strong was a tough task. The wire needed lots of twisting. After many hours on both Monday and Tuesday, the fence feels much stronger now. I'm sure Hamlet will challenge the fence again soon. Hopefully, I've done enough.
My Content
I have created a collection of works post using the collections feature on PeakD. This feature is very useful if you have posts on similar topics spread across your page. The collections feature enables you to organise them in one place and give these posts greater visibility by appearing under their own tab on your PeakD page. My collections post contains my 4 older collections posts (created prior to collections feature), my Actifit series of posts, and my Economics is for Everyone course post. I really like this feature, I will be creating more collections posts in the near future.
