My Actifit Report Card and Update: March 30 2022
Hi Actifitters,
I'm back with another Actifit Report and Update. We have strange weather in the UK. Spring arrived two weeks ago. We had beautiful sunny days with temperatures close to 20 degrees Celsius. Yesterday that came to a sharp end. Temperatures dropped below 5. Despite the temperature drop, it has remained very sunny. Seems quite funny. Some places in the northeast had snow. It doesn't look like it's going to snow here. I was expecting rain. That's why I mowed the front lawn while it's dry. I donated the cut grass to Lily Goat.
I took Ruby Dog round the back to meet Hamlet the Happy Pig and Lily Goat. Ruby met Hamlet when she was tiny but hasn't seen her since she has grown 20x times bigger. I walked Ruby on her lead in their area just incase anyone panicked. The walk went well. They all like each other. Lily wanted to play and Hamlet gave Ruby a big sniff. Maybe she remembered her from 7 months ago.
My Content
Since my previous Actifit Report and Update, I have posted twice.
My first post was my Buying Selling Game Contest. This was the original version of the game where participants choose what to buy, where to buy it, and where to sell it. The response has been pretty good. So far, the contest has 8 participants, which is higher than usual. There is still a few hours left before the contest closes at 6pm UTC time. You still have time. First 12 entries receive upvotes. So, the next 4 will receive upvotes.
In my second post, I discuss tax. Should we or shouldn't we pay tax? The post explores the usage of tax as Government expenditure. The post briefly describes some of the essential services and infrastructure funded with tax money. The post considers the use of tax money if we have benevolent Governments. The post considers the use of tax money if we have self-serving Governments. The post explores the events of the past two years (Covid-19 response and the response to Russia-Ukraine war) and how tax money has been used against the best interest of the taxpayers. The post ended by discussing what taxpayers can do to reduce the power of Governments.
That wraps up this week's Actifit Report and Update. I hope everyone has a great week. I expect the fine weather will return soon.
