Saturday Afternoon Walk (My Actifit Report Card: April 12 2025)

If you can't do it in the morning, then you can do it in the afternoon, that's my principle. This Saturday I have no work to take passengers around the trip. The warm air is good to support my intention to take an afternoon walk. At the same time I can greet my neighbors.

The houses here I see are too close together, maybe also because of limited land while the population is increasing. For example, an elder has several children and the children each make their own house after getting married so that makes the density between the buildings even greater.

The residents here are friendly and I pass shady trees, there are plants that I rarely find anymore. The last time I saw this grapefruit tree was when I was little.

My journey continues to the rice field area. There is a village security post that I see.

It still looks good and there is a traditional tool that is usually sounded if there is danger threatening the village.

Near the guard post I saw a parked vehicle. Another unique thing that I just saw was the vehicle used to transport ducks to be taken to the rice fields so that the ducks could find food in the rice fields.

Near the rice fields, there is an area of ​​corn plants. From this corn area, I actually heard the sound of water. Curious about the sound of the water, I walked closer to the source of the sound and then I found a beautiful water dam.

This water dam is usually used by villagers to control water in the rice field area so that the rice fields do not dry out and the harvest does not fail.

Is there a water dam like this in your area too and is usually used as a destination for local people to also take an afternoon walk like I did.

I also wanted to fish like I saw people doing around the dam to fish.

Walking for quite a while then I stopped at a place that caught my attention, still around the dam. There is a small place to eat that is good for resting but I will review that place to you later. Saturday walk filled with fresh air.
