Walking Around The Village Irrigation (My Actifit Report Card: March 28 2025)

It was a really bright sunny day. Deciding to walk around the village streets was the right decision for me.

Maintaining the village together is not easy. I was really amazed when I saw a village on another island when I was traveling. Everything here is really clean.

The regional head and his people must work together well in my opinion. One of them is keeping the village irrigation clean so that it functions properly.

Before arriving at the village irrigation center, I passed through the streets of the local residents' houses which were very clean. You can see in the pictures that I share here. There is no trash at all.

The side of the road is planted with ornamental plants, adding to the beautiful impression, especially for pedestrians like me this time.

On the empty walls there are no meaningless graffiti at all. In fact, on the empty walls there are works of art containing, for example, the proclamation of Indonesian independence.

The yellowing rice fields can be seen when approaching the village irrigation area. It is very peaceful to see a village with a rice field area like this.

There is a luxurious house near the village irrigation. It looks majestic and surrounded by rice fields.

In front of the main irrigation area there is a marker like a small monument with a statue of a farmer holding a hoe.

I think it signifies a village with a prosperous harvest.

This irrigation functions to regulate the water supply in the rice fields. So the rice fields never dry out. If the rice fields lack water, the harvest can fail.

It can be seen here that the water flow is very clear and smooth. There is absolutely no garbage.

This location that I see is often used as a stopover for pedestrians or cyclists in the morning. Great place with fresh air and good view especially for me.

The surrounding area is very clean and cool with lots of trees and is suitable for us to walk, especially in the morning and evening.

The reflection of the sky in the irrigation area adds to the beauty and usually people will see the sunset in this area. A free view that can be enjoyed by the residents there.

It takes a lot of concern from the surrounding community, especially the regional head here, to move to keep this irrigation clean. People can easily throw away garbage like the incident of throwing garbage in the river. Very appreciative with a real example that this village can implement environmental cleanliness and beauty.

With environmental cleanliness directly plays a role in the prosperity of the village by maintaining maximum harvest results. One of them is by maintaining the irrigation flow which is still functioning well until now. Great, I appreciate that.
