Busy Sunday (My Actifit Report Card: November 17 2024)

Sunday made me super busy. Usually I am a travel driver. Today is even busier. Having to be a tour guide all day for me. I don't know whether I should complain or be happy. Maybe both are okay.

Happy because I can get busy chatting with my travel customers who I consider like my friends and even my relatives.

Complaining because I had to break my promise to my wife to spend the weekend together. Poor wife! But she is so forgiving and can rearrange our schedule.

Back to my activities today. First started at a cafe in the city center. Drinking milk tea to keep me awake while driving the car later.

Finished preparing energy. The first destination I went to was the airport. Kualanamu International Airport. My passengers came from other cities who had often visited my city. So that made me consider them as my own family.

The plane they were on was delayed. Finally it was dark when I met my passengers. My cellphone is really bad at capturing photos at night. I'm sorry.

Taking them to the center of my city. They asked me to take them to dinner at a famous cafe in my city.

It wasn't easy because it was the weekend. Traffic jams everywhere. That's normal. The lights illuminate the city with tall buildings.

This Taman Selfie (Selfie Park) is a popular cafe that is currently trending in my city. We stopped here.

In front of the selfie park there is a small artificial river as a concept for this cafe to sell street food. The street food is sold using boats. It's so unique that's why this cafe has recently become a trend.

This cafe has unique towering tents for the design of each seat.

Then in front of the tents where visitors sit there is like an artificial lake with beautiful reflections.

Like a cafe with a waterfront design. Brilliant idea.

My passengers love this place. They stay for a few days in my city.

Tomorrow I will also take them around to see new tourist attractions in my area.

Before we really parted and before I took them to their lodgings, they invited me to a coffee shop. They said they were jetlagged.

We stopped at the nearest coffee shop.

My coffee was ordered by one of them. I wanted to decline but I felt like it would ruin the friendship so I accepted the coffee. Maybe I should get used to drinking coffee. At least while I'm doing this for work.

See you tomorrow and maybe I'll have trouble sleeping because of this coffee. Busy day!
