Moving Places By Places (My Actifit Report Card: October 1 2024)

With a title that is what it is, without makeup words. Without any fancy words. Trying my best to explain my activities in the past few days in the real world. I will take a family who rented my travel car service to travel to another city with a distance of more than 400 km. Precisely from the city of Medan to the city of Takengon in the province of Aceh.

Not starting from the city of Medan because I have to pick them up at the airport first. That's why today I didn't go straight to Takengon.

Family things or business thing is complicated right. So, I needed picked up them in different places.

First, at Kualanamu International Airport the location is in Deli Serdang district. With the distance from the city of Medan to the international airport is about 26 km. It is indeed very tiring, but in fact I have been doing it for years because that is the job I love.

After picking up one of my passenger families at Kualanamu International Airport, I took them to the hotel for them to check in at a hotel, "Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa".

Because I was tired, I took a short break and looked at the swimming pool at the hotel. This afternoon the swimming pool was quiet. looking at the blue water my eyes felt calm and I sat enjoying the surroundings for a moment. I didn't go home straight away but I waited for further instructions from my passengers because they said they wanted to eat.

I didn't sit too long, I felt bored. So I went around for a while before they finally asked me to go to the mall.

In a mall they had a meeting with their other families while eating at a popular restaurant here. Meanwhile I decided to sit separately from them to respect their privacy. Then, I ordered a hot milk tea drink while waiting for them to finish their business.

They asked me to go home because they said their business would take a long time, so after finishing my drink I went home. But I didn't go home. I decided to look for other passengers with an online application. if I'm lucky I will go home with passengers going the same way so I don't lose on gas.

I waited for a while, but then I stopped at a large mosque that I often visit when I go to Medan city. a beautiful mosque. After praying I finally revived the online application for my online car service, then I only got customers who were nearby a few times.

Before going home, I stopped to drink hot chocolate while waiting and hoping that maybe there would be another passenger. Sure enough, after taking a sip of my hot chocolate, there was a passenger from an online application with the same destination as my house. I was very lucky this time.

I hope that the next day my long journey will go smoothly with a total of 400 km. For now, fortunately they postponed leaving because they still had business in the city of Medan. You shouldn't complain and the key is not to get tired and love your job, right? Then the most important thing is to get enough rest.
