My Actifit Report Card from Cannes

We started the morning in Nice, where my family and I caught the train to Cannes. Driving along the coast was a real pleasure—the sparkling blue sea on one side, charming seaside towns on the other. The day was perfect, sunny and warm, ideal for exploring this glamorous city. As soon as we arrived, we went for a leisurely walk along La Croisette, the famous promenade by the sea. Palm trees provided shade, and the wind from the Mediterranean carried the scent of salt and flowers. The children were delighted with the huge yachts and colorful souvenir stalls, while we enjoyed the view of the luxurious hotels and recognizable symbols of the film festival. After that, we climbed up to Le Suquet, the old quarter on the hill, where narrow cobbled streets led to a beautiful viewpoint by the church of Notre-Dame d’Espérance. From there there was a spectacular view of Cannes, the harbor and the endless blue of the sea. We ended the day with a relaxing afternoon in a small cafe by the shore. The children enjoyed ice cream, while we drank coffee, absorbing the atmosphere of the city. Cannes enchanted us with its combination of luxury and warmth, and this sunny family trip will forever remain in the memory.
