My Actifit Report Card from Nice

Today I make my steps in beautiful city in France. Nice is incredible, it's small but it's very interesting.

Nice. The very name conjures up images of the azure sea, the white coast and the charming streets that exude the French Riviera. Once you step into this city, it envelops you in a special rhythm - a combination of elegance, relaxation and warmth.

My day in Nice started with a leisurely stroll along the famous Promenade des Anglais, a promenade that follows the sea line and offers a perfect view of the endless blue of the Mediterranean Sea. The smell of salt in the air, the gentle breeze and street musicians at every turn make you feel like you're part of a movie. People are not in a hurry here - everyone is enjoying life, in every sip of espresso or bite of a fresh croissant from the local boulangerie.

I then turned to Vieux Nice – Old Town. Narrow streets winding between colorful buildings, shops with local lavender soaps, small art galleries and spice markets. Everywhere you can feel the spirit of the south of France - relaxation and immediacy. On the Cours Saleya square, I ran into a market full of fruits, vegetables and fresh flowers, and the smells of traditional specialties such as socca and niçoise salad wafted from the nearby restaurants.

I then climbed to the Colline du Château, the hill above the town. The view from the top is breathtaking - on one side the Old Town, on the other modern Nice and the endless coast. It is the right place to take a break, perhaps with a bottle of local rosé wine and the silence disturbed only by the sound of the waves.

As the day drew to a close, Nice showed another face of its own – the lights were turned on and the cafes and restaurants filled up. Street artists drew portraits, while small jazz bands played in the squares. I ended the evening by the sea, listening to the waves and watching the night slowly cover the riviera.

Nice is not just a city - it is a feeling. A city where every step brings a new story, a new color and a new emotion. If you love cities that radiate life, history and the irresistible charm of the Mediterranean, a walk in Nice will remain etched in your memory forever.
