Harry Redknapp to Jose Mourinho: Gareth Bale will be a great addition
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has backed the newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho to sign the embattled Real Madrid forward for Tottenham.
Tottenham Hotspur today officially unveil Jose Mourinho as new Spurs’ manager. Mauricio Pochettino probably saw this coming because of Spurs form lately.
As a manager at Manchester United, Mourinho was keen at signing Gareth Bale in the summer of 2017. Now that he is now Tottenham coach, he has upper hand signing the player who finds himself sidelined on many occasion by the Zenedine Zidane led squad.
The transfer window will be open by January and Bale could find himself back at the club he left for Madrid.
Harry Redknapp has had the opportunity to manage Bale during his time at Spurs and welcomes the idea of seeing the 30-year-old back at the north London.
When asked about a possible return of Bale to the north London, Redknapp claims it would be a great signing for both the club and Bale himself.
This Mourinho signing would be one that many Arsenal fans like myself can't wait to see play out in real time. Mourinho has always hated Arsenal and for him moving to our direct rival club, it means our DERBY would be a fierce one.
I can't wait to see what he would make of this struggling Tottenham team but importantly, i can't wait to see him lineup his team against Arsenal.
