The of Future of Health Data - Interoperability and Patient Ownership
One thing that I can say for sure is that health data is changing.
There are two main big things: interoperability and patient ownership.
Interoperability only means making it easy for different systems to share health information. This U believe will certainly help doctors and patients work together better.
Patient ownership on the other hand means giving people control over their health data so they can make smart choices about their health.
I totally believe that combining these changes will make healthcare better.
How will this make health care better you might ask?
Well it will be done by improving collaboration, diagnoses, and personalized treatments.
For this to work effectively though, I would suggests that everyone involved in healthcare, like doctors and tech experts, should work together to handle challenges and make these changes part of how healthcare works.
This is a rather brief blog but, these few words could be worth more than a thousand.
You describe an ideal scenario in terms of interoperability and patient´s data ownership. But do you think it is realistic, that it will happen, and by when?
The problem I see is that the stakeholders you mentioned, healthcare providers, technology experts, policymakers, and individuals have completely different interests and ambitions.
@stayoutoftherz you are 100% right about the difference in interesting. I strongly believe it's very realistic although if we have to be honest it would take quite a long time and effort in creating the awareness of the value that interoperability and patient´s data ownership will bring to the healthcare sector.
The truth is that, the very reason why it would take that long a time is because of the difference in interests of all these people as you made mention.
So I guess we would have to create a model were all these stakeholders will benefit. That's how any form of new business or project gets accepted anyways.
I really appreciate your feedback on this blog. You made a very wise and reasonable comment and the question you asked was very brilliant. Thank you so much dear friend. If you have any further question, I'll be happy to answer them🥰
What is your native language? Why you write sometimes in German, other times in english, this is quite unusual.
Congratulations!
