In this fifth issue we invited @fmajuniorphoto,skateboarder, photographer, home dad and member of Skatehive since 2022

Hey @fmajuniorphoto , welcome to "Crypto Skaters"

• Hi, Crypto Skaters!.

Can you tell us a few things about you?

• Thank you friend! My name is Fernando Menezes, I’m 40 years old. I live in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. I’ve been skating since 1996, I started in photography around 2007, but it wasn’t until 2011 that I decided to study a little and improve myself.

What's your background with skateboarding?

• I’ve always liked skateboarding, since I was very young! I’ve had a few non-professional skates. and in 1996, I bought a “professional” skateboard with the money from my first salary. I We were skating the streets with my friends and built obstacles we saw in skate magazines ourselves". Through skateboarding we got to know other guys, older ones who had been skating longer and they lent us some VHS. The first skateboard vhs I watched was a promo video from "New Deal". They also taught us some tricks and more about skate culture.

Goofy or Regular? / Grinds or Slides?

-Regular. I like both but I like going to flat bars better!

Favourite Skater and video part?

• My favorite skater is Marc Johnson and my favorite part would be his in Transworld Transmission

How did you get involved with crypto and why / How did you find out about Skatehive??

• I got involved in crypto through SkateHive, through an invite from @Xvlad. I had already heard about cryptocurrencies and understood how through SkateHive, I could monetize my content, something that is very difficult to do in Web 2 social networks

Kickflips or Heelflips?

• Nollie Heelflip hahahahha!!! I was never good with flips. I got no clips of any of them I hope a 3 flip can work

In your opinion, how can Web3 change skateboarding?

• Increasing our sense of community and becoming owners of our own content. Thus, supporting each other and our ideas!

Any Web 3 communities you're part of and wanna mention other than Skatehive?

• I’m part of the communities HiveBR, OCD, Photography Lovers, Liketu, Black and White, Sports Talk, Archon, Proof of Brain and others.

What should we expect from @fmajuniorphoto in 2023?

• I’ve been focused on some personal projects, studying some other web3 possibilities. I’m also trying to skate more and photograph more. Besides spending more time with my daughter!

Any last words for those reading or anything you wanna mention?

• May they continue to believe in their projects and in web3. Support your comrades! Together we can do more!
