My Actifit Report Card: April 26 2022

Blocked at home first by a surgical operation for my mom then by a very long covid from which my daughter has not yet come out, yesterday was my first day of freedom.
So I took advantage of it to run a whole series of errands that couldn't be done online.
And here, after about a month, my actifit report.
The photo of the little daisy, now starting to peep out everywhere in the meadows, is to remind us how beautiful those little everyday things are.
Those little hindrances, those little jobs, those little meetings, those little walks that seem so annoying at times or trivial, but missing so much when you don't have them anymore.

Carissima, mi spiace😭. Cos'ha avuto tua mamma? E la bimba ha preso il covid? Accipikkia, qua vaccino o non vaccino si piglia comunque (certo, mio marito dice che però da vaccinati i sintomi sono sopportabili, a me era venuto a febbraio pur con due dosi).

Noi eravamo tutti vaccinati (tutti tre dosi eccetto il piccoletto untore che ne aveva due). È supercontagioso, l'ha portato il cucciolo e siamo caduti uno dopo l'altro. Comunque notizia di un'ora fa, anche la piccoletta si è negativizzata. Che dire, abbiamo allungato i tempi per il prossimo vaccino. Mamma ha avuto un intervento agli occhi, il problema è che mia mamma è sorda, quindi poveraccia è stata sordo cieca per un po'

Accipikkia mia cara, quindi vi tocca la quarta vaccinazione? Qua ci vanno provvedimenti diversi, che non si può andare avanti a bucarsi ogni tre per due. Mio marito ha fatto la terza, solo che trattandosi di astrazeneca, o astraporcheria come la chiamo, a differenza di lui me ne sono rimasta con due, perchè astracacca col cavolo che accetto (ma è quella che in terre latine offrono a chi ha due pfizer).

Ps.: mi spiace per tua mamma, guarda, la sordocecità non è facile da portare avanti (l'ho studiata come condizione di vita durante la specializzazione in psicopedagogia istituzionale), specie dipendendo dal paese in cui vivono questi disabili (Laura Bridgman e Helen Keller erano americane, quindi poterono conseguire una buona istruzione). Grazie a Dio per tua mamma è stata una condizione temporanea

Ne parlano sempre di più, quindi temo si andrà per la quarta dose. Io ricordo Aprile 2020, quando tutto esplose, i miei ex compagni di Università (io sono un Chimico con specializzazione in Farmacologia e Neuroscienze ormai da tempo fallito 😅) che discutevano della capacità mutagena del virus e come la stessa non fosse controllabile con un vaccino. Purtuttavia ci siamo tutti vaccinati (alcuni no, ora che ci penso) pur sapendo che non ci avrebbe reso immuni perché non è un virus immutabile, come il vaiolo o il morbillo per intenderci. Io mi sono vaccinata, e ho vaccinato anche i miei figli, e devo dire che in tre avevamo tre dosi e i sintomi sono stati davvero lievi. Il piccoletto invece ha avuto febbrone, placche alla gola, catarro a sfascio e ha dovuto prendere anche gli antibiotici. Niente più di una brutta influenza. Se queste mutazioni continueranno in questo senso, io credo si arriverà ad un vaccino annuale, tipo quello antinfluenzale, che cerca di seguire le mutazioni virali senza potersi considerare la panacea dei mali, ma che ci fa ammalare di meno ed in forma meno grave (purtroppo io ho avuto morti vicini ed una persona che ne è uscita malissimo ai tempi della variante delta, quando cioè non ci stavano capendo una beata minchia).

Riguardo la sordo cecità, penso che sia una delle peggiori disabilità che possa esistere, non so proprio come si possa crescere senza vedere e sentire contemporaneamente. Tra l'altro, mi dicessero quale senso per te è vitale, risponderei proprio la vista. Potrei adattarmi da sorda, da muta, magari anche senza il gusto (non assaggerei tutto e leggerei bene etichette e scadenze prima di mettermi in bocca qualcosa), ma non toglietemi gli occhi.
Devo dire che mia mamma era molto sbalestrata la settimana che non poteva né vedere né sentire. Ora almeno da un occhio rivede. Deve operare l'altro ma ha sofferto molto e dice che non vuole farlo. Le basta così.

Purtroppo invece la mia migliore amica ha perso il papà a due giorni esatti dalla seconda dose pfizer e i miei zii ultrasettantenni (che hanno rifiutato categoricamente di vaccinarsi e i miei cugini idem) hanno visto i loro altrettanto anziani amici che prima del vaccino godevano di salute discreta e in seguito sono cominciate le miocarditi e ictus. Non intendo spaventarti (dopotutto voi siete giovani e anche noi ci siamo vaccinati, semmai sono io che non faccio la terza perchè proprio astracacca nononono), ma bucare un ultrasettantenne ogni tre mesi non mi pare un grande affare. Una volta l'anno invece si, ci può stare come ci sta per l'influenza comune.
Ma tua mamma può evitare la seconda operazione senza conseguenze per l'altro occhio?🤔
Lo spero per lei.
Sia Helen Keller che Laura Bridgman (ma non soltanto loro, vi era stata una donna francese ancor prima, ma si sa che basta nascere negli USA affinchè ogni avvenimento faccia il giro del globo) sono diventate sordocieche dall'età di un anno e mezzo, a seguito a causa di malattie (tra le quali la scarlattina, se non ricordo male) che le lasciarono menomate. Avendo comunque sia pur minimi ricordi di parecchie parole che già pronunciavano sia pure in tenera età, scuole e insegnanti fecero miracoli con loro. Ebbero una vita quasi normale. Laura Bridgman aveva perso finanche il senso del gusto e pure dell'olfatto. Si regolava per sensazioni e vibrazioni del suolo.

Covid creates problems when it manifests itself in one of its serious forms ... my father risked a lot last year, I know something about it. I am happy to know that you are better

We experienced very sad things with the Delta variation. One of my daughter's friend (we are talking of a teenager 13 yo) has a cronical miocardits due to Delta infection. One friend of us spent 3 months in the hospital in pharmacological choma and he had 3 heart attack and lost his eyes, my aunt died. I hope your father is fine now. The Delta variant was pretty dangerous. We have to protect fragile people. We possibly had one of the omicron variant and we follow strictly any rule. However my son got sick and then it has been a chain reaction.
I will continue to wear my mask after the 1st of May.
