Saludos apreciados corredores de esta activa comunidad de hive run. Aquí les comparto un poco de lo que fue mi semana de entrenamientos.

Comencé el lunes con sentadillas que son mi ejercicio favorito ya que tiene efectos en todo el cuerpo. El jueves junto a mi esposo nos animamos a realizar una carrera de subida por una zona muy conocida acá en Barquisimeto llamada La Ribereña.

Bajando iba súper bien, parecía que el viento me llevaba, lo único malo era que en el camino se sentían muchas piedras y al pisar me era algo muy incómodo…pero al subir parecía que se me iba a salir el corazón. Iba un poco más lento y me parecía que no llegaba, pero mi esposo me animo, me decía que faltaba poco que si podía llegar a la meta, hasta que así fue, logre subir y lo logre.

Ayer sábado tuve un día de bastante actividad lo que me impidió correr. Hoy domingo el sol implacable calentó hasta altas horas de la tarde, lo que nos impidió salir temprano; por lo que se nos hizo la noche y esto no me gusta porque en las calles hay zonas con muy poca iluminación, lo que me obliga a bajar mi ritmo para ir lento mirando muy bien donde piso.

Corrí 5 km, con un clima fresco y lo más importante que se disfrutó. Espero con el favor de Dios sumar mucho más esta semana que viene.

Greetings dear runners of this active hive run community. Here I share with you a little bit of what my week of workouts was like.

I started on Monday with squats which are my favorite exercise as it has effects on the whole body. On Thursday together with my husband we went for an uphill run through a very well known area here in Barquisimeto called La Ribereña.

Going down it was going very well, it seemed that the wind was carrying me, the only bad thing was that on the way there were many stones and stepping on them was very uncomfortable...but going up it seemed that my heart was going to come out. I was going a little slower and it seemed to me that I could not get there, but my husband encouraged me, he told me that I was close and that I could reach the goal, until I did, I managed to climb and I did it.

Yesterday Saturday I had a very busy day which prevented me from running. Today Sunday the relentless sun heated up until late afternoon, which prevented us from leaving early, so we were made the night and I do not like this because in the streets there are areas with very little lighting, forcing me to slow my pace to go slow looking very well where I step.

I ran 5 km, with a cool weather and the most important thing that was enjoyed. I hope with God's favor to add much more this coming week.

Felicidades Iris, las subidas son necesarias, con ellas pasos cortos, cabeza arriba y braceo.. El sol está terrible yo este fin no pude correr espero reiniciar hoy
