“You Say Goodbye, and I Say Hello!”🐸
“Dis good day to build up strong leg muscles Silbertop……I take you hiking ta day, hop in da truck!”🐸
OK my green friend, where are we headed?😇
With PEPE at the wheel of Silvertop’s pickup truck, we quickly sped down the road to destinations only known to PEPE!😮
“Uhhh….. you DO have a drivers license don’t you…… can you even reach the brake pedal!”😳
“Trail OPEN Silbertop, you follow me…..Man!”🐸
The parking lot was empty, as my green friend, driving way too fast, pulled the truck to the side of the trailhead, and turned off the ignition……….😮
I guess after yesterday’s heavy rains no one was adventurous enough to hike across the rain swollen Hayden creek!😅
Torrents of water were cascading down the Mountain hillside………
Carefully I stepped on slippery boulders, picking my way across the Mountain stream, as PEPE sloshed his way through the fast moving water!🐸
This is the only way in….. and the only way out!
Soon I realized where PEPE was taking Silvertop, we began the very long and steep, climb uphill!😅
We have hiked here before, I guess this Historic cabin has left an impression on PEPE!😊
Throughout the summer, many volunteers, come up here to work on this cabin and maintain its condition.
Unfortunately, it looked like someone had a wild party, and the inside of the cabin was littered with garbage!😮
Nothing damaged…… it’s just sad that some people don’t have more respect……….🙄
“Dis a good way to say “Hello” to da weekend Silbertop, we come back again with da Ladies, PEPE bring bug snacks!”🐸
“Absolutely my green friend….. I’ll bring the snacks for myself and Liz Lol!” 😇
