Today was one of the Mrs days off, but she still needed to drop off a bulk mailing for work, at the Post Office, first thing this morning.
Normally this isn’t a big deal, but that was “B. P”……………😮

That rust colored building up ahead that spans across all auto lanes of traffic, is the end of the United States, and the beginning of Canada!😊

We were finished before you knew it. We even made another side trip to pick up some siding nails, and then headed back home………..
Liz opened the door to Phoenix’s crate………..
From the living room, to the mudroom, on the other side of our house………..
I could see Phoenix barreling at high speed to greet Silvertop!

It was as if she hadn’t seen us for years!

It didn’t matter that the rain was back today………..
Mom and Dad were home…..and Phoenix was happy!😍

is there a government building in the canadian us border? like do they even check passports there?
i have only crossed one land border in my life, singapore-malaysia border and the immigration officers were thorough
They stop every car, check passports, and sometimes bring out dogs to sniff the vehicle. When I drive my pickup truck over to Canada my spare tire is always loose in the bed of the truck. They have let the air out to make sure I wasn’t smuggling drugs!
It’s actually very intimidating crossing the border!😳
i see, i guess all immigration officers are supposed to be intimidating.

One time the family had a pet Nubian goat. This goat road in the back of my pick up truck.
Weeks later, we cross the border to Canada without the Nubian, of course, but the dogs smelled where she had been. Border guards came out, thinking that I was smuggling drugs. It was actually a funny situation after everyone realized and calmed down . !😇🤣
funny if you think about it now, but my god that must have been stressful and scary at that time. waaaaa
Strange how even when you haven’t done anything wrong you feel like a criminal when you are surrounded by armed border guards!😳
true. my first encounter with a land border was just so stressful. i was on a bus from singapore to malaysia and they asked all of us to get down. i didn't know it was the border inspection, i left my passport at the bus. i hurriedly went back and searched for our bus which parked somewhere far. i was like a fugitive running around
😳……. That’s exactly how I feel crossing the border as well!🙄
