Much can be said for taking some time away from day to day life and work, to just plant your feet in the grass!☺️
That’s exactly what Silvertop and Cot “The Baby Mountain Lion” did today!😺
We were outside, enjoying the warm weather, hiking in the Mountains together!😎
“Dad, did you see that birds nest we just hiked by, I’m getting hungry already!”😻
“Cot, remember we are out to “Touch grass” today…… not Birdies Lol!”🙄
We were headed up “The High Trail” when we passed David my neighbor from the tiny house with his wife and kids……
“Silvertop we are picking fresh Stinging Nettles today!”
David drinks Nettle tea, I believe they make soap with it among other things……..
If you have ever touched Stinging Nettle, you won’t ever forget how it burns, and can blister your skin if you accidentally weed whack through a patch of it!😳

Looks beautiful. Our grass is contemplating turning green, but taking its sweet time. Once the warm weather comes and we get a good rain it will burst into full color.
Yes, nettles sting! I hate running into them. So you have weed whacked them? I bet that was delightful. Eek!

Being originally from Cincinnati, we did not have this plant. So when we moved to the Northwest, I pulled out my weed eat, wearing only a T-shirt and shorts…….😳😬🙄
