Grab those poles and let’s Roll!🤗
They say when you workout you need to warm up first, so you don’t injure yourself!😇
Mountain hiking simulates this gradual warm up naturally…….😊💪
We start our hike in the beautiful open meadow that you see in the second photo……
Soon we will pass a small apple orchard…..
In the foreground, someone planted rows of daffodils that are in full bloom now!🤗 Further up ahead we enter the forest, we call this trail the “High Trail”!
This single footpath winds its way steeply uphill, for about 1/4 of a mile.
Finally at the top, it connects with a wide network of private hiking trails maintained by our friends and neighbors Keith and Lynne!😊
Of course, at the top of this short but very steep trail, Keith placed a wooden bench so hikers can take a break!😅
Where do you want to hike from here my friends?☺️
Further East will take you to “Soaring Eagle”, always a favorite of Liz and Silvertop’s!
North….will take you to Westergreens tree forest, with countless miles of hiking trails heading towards Canada!😊
Or you can simply stay on the main trail, that will take you deep into dark sections of the forest…….. just keep an eye out for the four legged locals Lol………..😮
Remember they are enjoying the forest and the Mountains ….as well!😻🐻
