Who’s afraid of the big bad bear!😳
The shadows are always long on the very secluded, and dark, “Buck Ridge Loop”!😮
It was several years ago, but it seems like just yesterday, that Silvertop and Liz had an unexpected encounter!🙄
The Mrs was leading the hike…………
Very close to the location of the third photo, Liz suddenly started backing up almost running over Silvertop!
BEAR!!!….Was all I heard!😳
“Silvertop, do you have your Bear spray…..Go, Go, Go!”😬
I tried to Go forward……….
“NO Silvertop GO BACK!”
Moments like this flash quickly before your eyes………..
Where is my Bear Spray?
How do I get the safety off?
Can I run faster than Liz?😇🥰
As a very important footnote guys, remember “IF” you ever encounter a “BIG SCARY BEAR”, never run!😇
They probably will follow you, very quickly!
Liz and Silvertop slowly backed away from the Bear!
Moments later we were safely out of sight of the Bear!😊
More adrenaline than several Lattes, was coursing through my veins!😅
Today…… I looked once, twice, just in case!😇
Lynne had told us that the Bears especially like this secluded section of the forest…..
Shhh…….. Silvertop is just passing through……keep sleeping Bears Lol!☺️
