Hmmm………….🤔
Today Liz and Silvertop were going on a Christmas shopping mission!
The Christmas shopping days are clicking down WAY too fast! Today we planned to shop ALL day long Lol!😇
The Mrs had just jumped out of the shower, and Silvertop true to his Crypto obsession, was still lounging in bed checking the Crypto markets!☺️
“Liz, do we have internet?”🤔
It’s sometimes difficult to tell when the grid electricity goes down, since most of our house runs on solar…….. except our 220 volt water well……..
Yep …..grid power was out, the question was where was the power outage, and how widespread.😮
Sometimes it’s an issue with the main electric transmission lines in town.
Other times it’s more local, a down tree can take sections of a street, or multiple streets electric grid down!
Silvertop started walking our street looking for repair crews.
Up our road I found a electric lineman dragging a broken high power wire off our road
“Silvertop i’m just assessing the damage, I’ll send the crew up right away to restore electric to your street!”
I thanked him, and wished him a Merry Christmas’😊
This is both a good thing and a bad………
Good because he found where a tree took down the electric wire……
Bad because it’s isolated to our dead end old logging road!🙄
“ Liz let’s go shopping, I can check on our grid power from my iPhone throughout the day!😊
The Mrs car was full of presents as we pulled back into our driveway at 6:30 PM.
“Honey, it looks like they have forgotten our street, do we have any estimate of the restoration of electricity?”
“No estimate at all Silvertop!”😳
Liz struck a match to the wood in our wood stove, and Silvertop fired up the generator.
We have heat, light, internet, and each other!🥰
That sounds like a very good Saturday honey!🤗
