Where’s the Party?☺️
“How much rain did we get last night Silvertop?”🥰
Yesterday when Cot and Silvertop were up at the “High Trail”, I snapped the second photo of this Weather Front moving in…………
“Big storm coming Liz!” 🙄
Silvertop knew today’s “Party” was going to be an indoor Party at Costco Lol!😇
Both Liz and I were concerned about driving away from home during a heavy rain storm……..
FedEx was scheduled to deliver to us, over 130 pounds of green Coffee beans today!😊
They have a very bad track record of leaving packages at our driveway gate unprotected from the elements!😮
I walked down to our gate one last time before we drove to town.
Take a look at the third photo…………….
One of Santa’s presents for the Mrs sat on top of a post at our driveway gate!
It was soaked completely through!😬
Luckily, the present inside was dry!😇
The Mrs made a quick phone call to FedEx to see if they could get a message to the delivery driver……..
“Hello…. We will leave the gate open, can the driver place the Coffee under our covered porch?”🥰
The dispatcher said she would get a message to the driver……..
“That’s a relief honey, I don’t feel bad about leaving, if the driver will place the Coffee beans up at our house so they stay dry!”😊
Off to Costco we drove……….
Christmas is starting to gear up, with the annual arrival of Santa Claus with the Lynden Christmas parade today!🤗
Roads were barricaded in anticipation of Santa’s arrival!☺️

By the time the parade was going to begin we were on our way back home, anticipating finding large boxes of Coffee!🤗
“Nothing at the gate Liz….. nothing on the porch either!”😮
Hmmm………….
You don’t suppose Cot would try to smuggle Coffee back across the Canadian border in exchange for more Catnip from @kerrislravenhill do you?😻
Hmmm…………….. 😇🤣
Darkness had already begun to set in for the evening, and our large shipment of Coffee beans were still Missing in Action!
In situations like this, the best thing is to pull a couple more shots of espresso, kick back in front of a nice warm fire, and wait for Santa……. I mean fedEx to arrive Lol!😇
“ Santa…… all I want for Christmas is a big bag of Coffee beans!”☺️
