It’s All About Ruby!😍
“Ruby GO HOME !”🤔
It wasn’t working…………………🙄
Guys do you remember my post about a week ago, when two of my neighbors dogs went missing…………
This is one of Kurt’s wayward dogs…….Ruby!☺️
It had just started to drizzle rain today. Liz decided to stay home, it wasn’t the best of hiking days!😅
Silvertop was on his own, or so I thought!😇
I was still on our paved road when out of the blue Ruby body slammed Silvertop from behind!😳
At first I didn’t know what just plowed into me, I didn’t even know how to react!😮
Did a Cougar think Silvertop was on the dinner menu tonight!😬😺
“Ruby….. what are you doing girl, Kurt is going to be looking for you!”
Ruby is approximately two years old, but you wouldn’t know it Lol!☺️
She has what Liz calls an articulate rear end Lol😊
She bounces, she runs continuously, and never in a straight line!
The front end, is usually going a different direction than the rear end Lol!🤣
“Ruby, I’m hiking to “Bear Hollow” today, you better go back home!”😍
Ruby has “Selective hearing”, she bounced along side of Silvertop, and the two of us continued our trek deep into the Mountains…………
Everything is new and exciting for Ruby!
She is definitely a hunting dog being an Irish setter!

She is pointing……..
Moments later a large Deer bounced away from us, through the thick underbrush, spooked by Ruby!
I check my watch as the two of us started down into “Bear Hollow”………..
We had 1 1/2 hour till darkness would overtake the deep forest ….. it would take us about that long to get back to paved roads!😮
We started back……….
As we neared Kurt’s home, I could hear someone frantically calling out for Ruby!
“You had a good hike girl, you better hurry home they are worried sick about you!”
Just like that Silvertop’s “Rent a Dog” was gone!😍
“Later….. Ruby!”❤️
