“Hello..Is There Anybody In There?” 😮 My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2024

“Hello…is there anybody in there?”☺️
“Silvertop, don’t go anywhere today!FedEx is going to try one more time to deliver my new iPad, and you need to be here for a signature!”🥰
Hmmm………….🙄
Silvertop had a plan…………..😇
As soon as Liz headed out the door for work, I would grab my backpack, hike to the Ridge top, and be back by Noon to sit and wait for FedEx to arrive!☺️
I looked out the window and watched the rain coming down………
If I don’t start my hike now, I will need to miss today’s hike!😮
I pulled my raincoat out from my backpack….. this is going to be a cold wet hike!🙄
Silvertop was determined…………..
As I started up our road heading to the trailhead, the rain stopped and the Sun came out!😎
I pulled my hood off, It was looking like today might still turn out to be a nice day after all!
Fog had just burned off of the pond at the trailhead. Almost all the Apples were gone from the trees in the nearby apple Orchard. I looked down to see one of the last piles of Black Bear Scat below where I was standing……….
I’m sure the Bears are all hibernating by now, but just in case I am still carrying my bear spray strapped to the outside of my backpack!😇
That’s when Liz texted me…………..
“The only thing I can see from the FedEx package tracking is that it’s out for delivery Silvertop!”🥰
Being out in the foothills of the Mountains has its advantages, FedEx NEVER comes up here till late in the day!😇
It was 10:30 AM when I pulled out a deck chair up at Tim’s cabin on the Ridge top.
I sat for a few minutes just enjoying the quiet of the morning high up in the Mountains!😊
I checked my watch, it was time to head back, just in case FedEx was early!😇
By 3 PM I was busy splitting kindling wood, when I heard a truck stop at our gate…………..
The driver jumped out………..
“Good to see that you are here today Silvertop, I have a package for you!
No one was home yesterday!”
“Yep”………..😇
I carried the package inside, and I could hear the rain starting up again……….
Time to light the wood stove, and enjoy the evening, and the Weekend!😊
