The grandstands are empty now, the crowds have all gone home……….
The 2024 Northwest Washington Fair is officially over for this year!
After Church today, Liz and Silvertop headed to the Fairgrounds to pick up her photograph.
The tear down of all the amusement rides has begun.
I’m sure neighbors living nearby, will be sleeping sounder. The small town of Lynden can now return to its normality quiet demeanor!
One friend told Silvertop, that you didn’t need an entrance ticket to enjoy any of the late evening concerts!😇
Living just outside the Fairgrounds you also didn’t need earplugs Lol!😳
Liz and Silvertop have enjoyed many rock, country, and Christian bands at the fair.
Years ago all concerts were free, with a paid fair admission!😊
Times have changed, and several bands were charging close to $100.00 a ticket, on top of the fair admission of $15.00 each!
OUCH!!!🙄
The rain had been holding off, and last night, a powerful wind and rain storm blew in from the Ocean!😮
Ten days of Sunshine for the Summer fair, and the last night it rained.
You couldn’t have planned it any better!😊
