My furry child looked sleepy……….😻
Actually Cot looks sleepy ALL the time Lol!🤣
I was up early this morning trying to beat the heat ……..……….
They were calling for another scorching day!🥵
Years ago, Silvertop was building a new house in Cincinnati.
We had a long hot Summer, with temperatures pushing 100 degrees Fahrenheit….. no rain…. very similar to the Pacific Northwest Lol!😇
Home builders would start work at 5 AM trying to deal with the intense heat!
Silvertop was working a full time job in the graphic arts industry, then at 4 o’clock in the afternoon I would start work on our new home……….
At the hottest part of the day!🥵
This morning, the quiet of the forest was broken with the sound of concrete being mixed ……………..
Load, after load, I mixed, and then hauled in a wheelbarrow to the concrete forms!……………..😅
By 2 o’clock clean rock and water replaced the concrete in the mixer, Silvertop was cleaning up for the day! 😊
“Hard work today Cot, do you want to hike with Dad?”
Cot was apparently still “Warming up for the day” Lol!😻
“Rest little Baby Mountain Lion, you have had a very hard day! Tomorrow you can help dad pull the form boards off! “😇
Cot did another “Warm up” stretch, and closed his eyes!😸
