Back to humble beginnings! 😻
Finally….. Silvertop was finished stacking firewood for the year!😅
If you look close, you can see that I had some help…………….
“ Dis a lot of sweaty werk Silbertop, makes me feel like I’m swmin in dat big pond again, Feels Good Man! 🐸
I guess the “Big Pond” made an impression on PEPE Lol!😇
My green friend was taking a well deserved nap, when the Mrs and Silvertop headed out for today’s hike.
Liz wanted to hike along the Mountain pass road, it has literally been years since we did this………….
Do you see where Liz is standing in the fifth photo………that’s the spot, eight years ago, where we found the tiny “Baby Mountain Lion” that you see in the following photo!😻
If you read my post a while back, you remember Silvertop talking about how “Cot” was “discarded” into the woods, and he was injured!
This very thin, and mousey looking kitten, quickly added muscle, and weight!😺
Rough kitten playtime with Dad usually ended with what Liz called “ Silvertop leaking again! “ 😳
I haven’t been blood typed, but we believe that I have a rare blood type!
Cot didn’t seem to care, it was playtime with Dad! 😻
That day, eight years ago, as Silvertop carried home this furry baby, was our last “Road hike” down this pass till today………..
As we passed the natural gas pipeline, we both stopped in our tracks………….
Two apparently feral gray and brown tabbies, sat in the tall grass watching us.
“Silvertop they actually look like Cot!”
Both cats ran off before we could get close to them……….
“ Maybe Liz…….
Hmmm……”🤔
“ I think I need to give Cot a big hug when we get back home! “😻
