That’s going to leave a mark!😳
With winter rains in the Pacific Northwest trees grow quickly!😊
This is also a double edge sword !
These same consistent rain storms, also prevents tree roots from growing deep into the ground !😮
Winter wind storms have been known to pull tall trees, roots and all, out of the ground!
Just look at the large tree root ball in the fourth photo!
I’m sure this tree made a thunderous sound as it fell to the ground!😳
We also benefit from the large bountiful forest.
Just look at the photo of light colored lumber stacked next to Silvertop’s red pickup truck!😊
This lumber is considered locally as the bottom of the barrel in wood quality…………
Today Silvertop and the Mrs, stopped at our local lumberyard to pick up some of this low quality wood for the outdoor shed I am building. These will be used above the roof rafters to support the mounting of the metal roofing!☺️
Remember I said “Low Quality” wood…….😇
Now take a look at one of Silvertop’s custom made doors………
This particular door, is under the loft I built.
The trim work, and the door, were made from this “Low Quality” local wood!
If you talk to any acoustic guitar player, they will tell you that this wood is THE finest sounding guitar wood bar none!😇
This number three quality wood is locally grown Sika Spruce!☺️
